Xandra Kramer gave a presentation on the functioning of the Dutch Collective Action regime (WAMCA) at the autumn meeting of the Dutch lawyer association for collective actions (VVMA). The WAMCA became applicable on 1 January 2020 and five years later the time is ripe to take stock. She presented some data on the WAMCA, and discussed the key challenges in pursuing collective actions as apparent from legal practice. With an attendance of over 100 practitioners and others interested in collective actions, this VVMA meeting was very fruitful in sharing ideas and pave the way for possible solutions.
